Introduce Your Little One to Classic Literature with BabyLit Books! (Promo Code and Giveaway)

Research supports the idea that reading to your children from the time they are babies creates not only a wonderful bonding experience, but also aids in their development and learning. If you’re a fan of classic literature like me, you’ll be thrilled to know that your child is never too young to be introduced to these long-time friends thanks to BabyLit books! Not only do they introduce your baby or toddler to classic literature, but they aid in teaching them numbers, sounds, colors, animals, anatomy and more!

I was excited to receive a copy of the very first BabyLit book: Pride and Prejudice. This sturdy, baby-proof board book is adorable and cheeky, with an introduction to numbers for babies and fun references to Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice that amuse adults. The cover has an illustration of Jane Austen wearing a shirt that says, “I love Darcy”! The famous houses in the book are illustrated (Longbourn, Netherfield, and Pemberley) as well as the five Bennet sisters (Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Lydia and Kitty). Parent, grandparent or caregiver can count along with baby by exploring 6 horses or 9 fancy ball gowns. It may be a little difficult to explain the concept of “10,000 pounds a year” to little ones, but they can count the 10 pieces of currency on the page.

Parents will want to collect all of the BabyLit books for a full collection! Check out the available titles: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp; Alice in Wonderland; Anna Karenina; Anne of Green Gables; Around the World in 80 Days; A Christmas Carol; Don Quixote; Dracula; Emma; Frankenstein; Jabberwocky; Jane Eyre; The Jungle Book; A Little Princess; A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Little Women; Les Miserables; Moby-Dick; The Nutcracker; The Odyssey; Peter Pan; Pride & Prejudice; Romeo & Juliet; The Secret Garden; Sense & Sensibility; Sherlock Holmes in the Hound of the Baskervilles; Treasure Island; The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; Wuthering Heights

Don’t have a baby? No problem. BabyLit books make a wonderful baby shower or welcome baby gift! For as little as $20, you can give two BabyLit books, and if you order before June 30, 2019, you can enjoy 25% off!

  4. "Look at the list of BabyLit titles and then leave a comment on this blog post sharing which one(s) you'd like to share with a little one in your life!" Well, I think "Pride and Prejudice," because it's important for young toddlers to understand the importance of the possession of a large fortune!
