DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX Has Arrived on Blu-Ray and DVD!

Our family has always loved Dr. Seuss books, and The Lorax is one of our favorites. So seeing DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX at the movie theater was a no-brainer. And we were not disappointed. In fact, we loved the movie! Of course, whenever you convert a children’s book to a movie, you have to add to the story. Sometimes, that doesn’t work out so well, but in this case they did a fantastic job of keeping the spirit of Dr. Seuss alive in the movie. We loved all of the new characters, and the music was fantastic.

In case you’re not familiar with the story, it’s about a 12-year-old boy named Ted (voiced by Zac Efron) who lives in the town of Thneedville with his mother and grandmother (wonderfully voiced by Betty White). Taylor Swift is the voice of Audrey, the girl whom Ted wants to impress, and they go on an adventure to explore the world outside of their hometown of Thneedville, where there are no trees and fresh air must be bought. They find a barren world outside the city, as well as a fuzzy orange creature called the Lorax (played by Danny Devito), who tells them the story about how all of the trees and animals disappeared from the once-beautiful Truffula Valley. It’s an environmental lesson that teaches children about the importance of protecting our natural resources. Fortunately, the “lesson” is packaged in a highly entertaining and visually appealing story.

Now that DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX is out on Blu-Ray and DVD, you can watch even more great features, including three new mini-movies that were never shown at the theaters! More information can be found in the video below:

If you’ve got a 3D television, you’ll be thrilled to know that DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX is also available in a Blu-Ray 3D Combo Pack! The exciting action and cuddly creatures in this movie make it perfect for 3D viewing. My boys loved seeing the characters really “come to life” before their eyes. The awesome 3D combo pack includes a Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy, and Ultraviolet version. Wow! And, of course, if you don’t have a 3D TV, there are regular Blu-Ray and DVD copies available, too. I hope you’ll pick up a copy of DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX for your family today!
