Rally for Recess with Dannon Danimals and Win Playground Equipment for Your School!

Although my boys spend more time than I would like on video games, they also love to go outdoors and play. Therefore, I feel confident that they’re getting at least an hour’s worth of activity a day. That’s harder to achieve on school days, though. Most days, they get time outdoors during recess, but not all children have this opportunity. Did you know that some schools have cut back on recess time or even eliminated it altogether? According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, this trend has helped to contribute to the growth of child obesity.

So, how can you help? I hope you’ll join Dannon Danimals® in their new national initiative: Rally for Recess! As you probably know, Dannon Danimals® are nutritious smoothies and lowfat yogurts with calcium for kids. I joke with my boys that they can be the next Danimals twins because Dylan and Cole Sprouse are the current spokespeople for Dannon Danimals®! Here are my boys enjoying their Dannon Danimals® Crush Cups:

Through the Rally for Recess initiative, five schools have the opportunity to win new playground equipment and an all-day celebration of recess! Through February 8, 2012, check your Danimals packaging for special codes that you can enter at Encourage the parents and students at your school to do the same because the top school in each of five categories (based on size) with the most codes registered wins the prize! Imagine how exciting it would be to present a new playground to your child’s school!

I hope you’ll head to the grocery store for some Dannon Danimals® yogurt and smoothies (great for school lunches) and grab those codes. Then visit to register your school for the contest. Share the good news and get everyone involved to Rally for Recess!

DISCLOSURE: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Danimals and received a gift card to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
