Children’s Book Review: Beautiful Blue Eyes, by Marianne Richmond

I love, love, love reading children’s books. I always have, and I think I always will. It started long ago as a child. But now, as a babysitter, nanny, mother and auntie, my love of books keeps growing and growing. I am very lucky that my daughter Sadie loves books as much as I do. I really don’t know if she is more excited for bedtime books or me!

Beautiful Blue Eyes is a wonderful book, written and illustrated by Marianne Richmond. It is sure to hold your child’s attention with the beautiful pictures on every page and the rhyme that tells the story behind a pretty pair of blue eyes.

As mothers, we all know that we can look into our children’s eyes and read them like a book. We can see our children’s feelings, personality, thoughts, worries, sadness and more just by looking at their beautiful eyes. This book is wonderful for both the child and the parent reading it. It flows from the first page right to the last, and we have read it over and over in our household. This is a perfect addition to your home library.
