Celebrate the Week of the Young Child!

Now here’s something to celebrate: This is the Week of the Young Child! This very special event is held each year to recognize the needs of young children. It’s also a time to thank the parents, teachers, caregivers, and other adults who play important roles in the lives of young children through involvement in children’s education and care.

The Learning Care Group, which operates more than 1,000 schools across the U.S. and even internationally, is celebrating the Week of the Young Child in many fun ways, from kite flying and parades, to special parent breakfasts and outdoor art galleries. Here’s a wonderful video they’ve produced that provides some excellent tips on communicating with your baby:
