Twilight Saga Soundtracks Are Now on DVD and Blu-Ray!

I have a guilty little secret: I’m a Twilight fan! To be honest, I’m not usually one to follow the crowd. I resisted reading the Twilight series of books by Stephenie Meyer, but then a friend basically shoved the first book in my hands and insisted that I read it, and I was hooked. Now I’ve read all the books and seen all the movies (so far), and I’m a huge fan. That’s why I jumped at the chance to review a new DVD: Music Videos and Performances from the Twilight Saga Soundtracks (Volume 1). This DVD contains 20 music videos by groups and singers that contributed to the Twilight movies. In watching these videos, I could definitely hear how the mood of the songs fit the movie so well.

But another interesting thing about this DVD is that you really don’t have to be a Twilight fan to enjoy it. My twenty-one-year-old son, a big music buff, has never seen the movies or read the books, but he was really excited to watch this DVD because there were songs by so many bands he likes, such as Muse, Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie, Collective Soul, O.A.R., and MUTEMATH. So, there’s really something for everyone on this DVD, whether you’re watching it for the Twilight connection or just because you like good music. Music Videos and Performances from the Twilight Saga Soundtracks (Volume 1) is also available on Blu-ray and as a digital download on iTunes. I hope you’ll check it out!
