Families Needed for New Documentary Series About Childhood Obesity

Paul Head, a casting producer from Los Angeles, asked me to help spread the word about a new show he’s working on that will help children and change lives for the better.

He is currently seeking families from all walks of life and backgrounds, with overweight/obese children, interested in participating in a new television documentary series for a major cable network. They are targeting the Greater Los Angeles and Atlanta, Georgia areas. This project will focus on the daily lives of everyday children struggling with obesity and document their journey toward a happy and healthy life. With the help of top experts (pediatricians, psychologists, nutritionists and fitness specialists), they will follow each family’s progress as they learn to implement healthy long-term habits and eating patterns in their lives. This program will also serve to promote awareness about this nationwide epidemic that is seriously affecting our youth.

If your child, the child of a loved one, or the child of a family you know is in need of change, Paul would love to hear from you/them! Anyone interested in learning more should submit the following information: their name, age, city/state, best contact phone number, recent photo(s) and their story in under 2000 words to Paul Head at They’re moving quickly and looking to start working with interested families sooner rather than later, so don’t hesitate if you’re interested in this fantastic opportunity!
