Help (RED) and Timbuk2 Wipe Out AIDS with Your Back-to-School Purchases

Here’s a way for some of your back-to-school purchases to make an important difference! In case you’re not familiar with the non-profit organization (RED), they partner with brands such as Dell, Nike, Converse and Gap to create unique products that, when sold, contribute a portion of their profits to the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. This school year, they have a wide variety of options available, including a new special promotion with Timbuk2. Throughout the month of August, Timbuk2 and (RED) are hosting a recycling program encouraging people to donate their old/used Timbuk2 bags to (RED), which will then be given to the Global Fund’s Community Health Workers in Zambia. Those who donate their old bags will receive a 20% discount on any stylish new Timbuk2 bag, perfect for the upcoming school year. For more information, please visit
