Subway’s Newest Fresh Fit Sub: Orchard Chicken Salad!

I have to admit that I’m a new fan of Subway sandwich shops. I was always a burger kind of girl -- that is, until I was given the opportunity as a blogger to start checking out the amazing menu at Subway. Last time I wrote about Subway, I had just sampled their new breakfast menu. It was delicious! This time, I was told that they have a new menu item called the Orchard Chicken Salad sub. So, my husband and I had a lunch date at Subway!

The Orchard Chicken Salad sub is made with chicken, celery, red apples, golden raisins, and cranberries. I was in the mood for a delicious meatball sub, so my husband had the Orchard Chicken Salad sandwich. He loved that it was packed full of fruit (no skimping there) and that the mayo was light, and not overpowering. (Check out the picture of his sub below.) We both love Subway because we get to customize our sandwiches. You can pick the type of bread, the type of cheese (if any) and select a wide variety of toppings (lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, and much, much more!). You can pick and choose what you want if you’re a picky eater like me, or have all the goodness you’d like if you’re an adventurous eater!

I’m now a Subway convert. Instead of going out for burgers, I’m much more likely these days to head over to Subway for a delicious sub. And it saves me money! I can purchase a full-size sub for around $5, which is two meals for me. Where else can you get a meal for just $2.50? What a deal!

I hope you’ll head over to Subway and try out their new Orchard Chicken Salad sub. Go to to find a location near you. If you’re a fan of chicken salad, I think you’ll be delighted with their new sandwich. And if that’s not your cup of tea, they have a huge number of other choices to please your palate!

DISCLOSURE: I received a gift card to enable me to purchase a Subway Orchard Chicken Salad sub for review. No other compensation was provided.
