Keep Your Shower Clean with the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner (Plus, Win a $3.00 Coupon)

In my opinion, one of the worst cleaning jobs in the house is keeping the shower clean. Yuck! Mold and mildew, water stains, soap scum, and just the general crud generated by four sons make me dread this job with a passion. So, when BzzAgent asked me to review the new Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, I practically crawled to them on my knees to be sure I got the opportunity to try it.

Now, I’m convinced this is the greatest invention ever. I absolutely love it! How does it work? You just hang the power sprayer over your shower pipe with the handy hanger, turn the bottle of cleaner upside-down and insert, and when you’re ready to clean, just push the button! After a 15-second delay (which gives you time to shut the shower curtain or door), it sprays the cleaner all around your shower for about 12 seconds. You do this every night or morning after the last shower (because it works best with a wet shower), and that’s it!

But does it work? It works amazingly well in our shower! I have to admit that I was skeptical. I figured that either a) it wouldn’t make much difference because it would miss too many spots, or b) it would make a mess! I’m happy to report that I was wrong on both counts. Our shower consists of a shower curtain and a bathtub, so I pull the shower curtain as wide as I can get it before I start the sprayer. After using the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner after just a few weeks, my shower curtain liner has never been cleaner! In the past, I used to get so frustrated at how quickly the mold built up on it. Frequently, I had to hand-scrub it, take it down and put it in the washing machine, or just replace it altogether. I no longer have to do that! It really does look like new.

I am so in love with the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner that I went out and bought two more bottles of the cleaner so we wouldn’t run out. (I found them at Kmart, but plenty of retailers carry them.) It takes just seconds a day to use, and it saves me SO much time in cleaning the shower. Yes, I still wipe it down from time to time, but I’m no longer scrubbing furiously to remove the mold and scum. My arms and back are extremely happy!

So, here’s my suggestion: Go to any store that carries Scrubbing Bubbles products and purchase the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner starter kit (approx. $14.99), which consists of the power sprayer (which runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries) and a bottle of cleaning solution. After this initial purchase, you’ll just need to buy refills of the cleaning solution. (Each refill lasts up to 3 weeks with daily use and costs approx. $3.99.)
