Bloomers VeggiePOPS: Lollipops That Grow Vegetables! Giveaway for a $25 Gift Card!

I have to admit that we have a “vegetable issue” in our house. I have four sons, and two of them will eat vegetables (like their father) and the other two don’t like them (like, um, me). So, since I’m a horrible role model for teaching kids how to eat their veggies, I was interested to hear the statistic that 96% of kids will eat a vegetable if they’ve grown it. This information comes from Cynthia Wylie, also a mother of 4, and inventor of a really cool product called VeggiePOPS! They look like lollipops, but they are actually seeds!

Just plant the VeggiePOPS in the specially formulated Wonder Soil, and your children will soon be growing their own vegetables! Watch as my son (one who does NOT like veggies) plants his own Swiss chard.

As you can see, we haven’t reached the stage yet where we’re ready to harvest our Swiss chard, but my hopes are high that my son will be willing to try it since he grew it. I’m willing to set a good example by trying it, too! Who knows, maybe we’ll actually find that we like veggies, at least some of them. Some of the other vegetables you can grow with VeggiePOPS are carrots, tomatoes, radishes, squash, and beans.

If you have a reluctant veggie eater in your household, or just want to do a fun gardening or homeschooling project, I suggest you pick up some VeggiePOPS from Bloomers! Learn more about this fun product at www.BloomersIsland.com. Follow them on Facebook, too!
