Delicious Iced Tea Recipes from Nutiva & Numi Organic Tea!

My kids may be back to school, but it’s still feeling like summer here with plenty of hot days! Instead of a sugary soda, I love to kick back with a refreshing glass of iced tea. I was recently sent these fun recipes from Nutiva and Numi Organic Tea, which combine Nutiva’s Organic Black and White chia seeds with Numi’s Organic Tea blends for a nutritious and satisfying beverage!

Chia seeds, I learned, are a rich source of protein, antioxidants, essential omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. They are also an excellent source of essential minerals like phosphorous, manganese, calcium, sodium and potassium. I hope you’ll mix up some of the recipes below for some wonderful variations on iced tea!

If you’d like a little bite to eat with your tea, I’d recommend Nutiva’s new O’Coconut snacks, which are made from lightly sweetened organic, fair trade coconut and have only 60 calories each. They come in two flavors -- O’Coconut Classic, which is pure coconut, or O’Coconut Hemp & Chia, which has additional nutty flavor and the nutritional benefits of Omega-3s. My husband and I sampled both of these snacks, and they were delicious! If you’re a coconut fan, these will be your new favorite snacks!
