Movie Review and Giveaway: The Wedding Chapel

I love heart-warming movies that just make you feel good inside, and The Wedding Chapel is one of those movies. In this story, a young woman and her mother (played by Shelley Long of “Cheers”) seek to prevent a developer from tearing down their family home and the beautiful town church to build a shopping center. Along the way, they confront personal demons. Sara, the daughter and an artist, struggles to commit to relationships and find passion in her painting. Her mother, widowed for five years, secretly harbors memories of the man she almost married before Sara’s father, who was believed to have been killed in Vietnam but later found alive.

The Wedding Chapel is filled with plenty of humor, touching moments, and charm. Sara meets a man who seems not to take life too seriously on the outside, but has a serious crush on her. And I loved the relationship between Sara and her mom, who had a lot to teach each other thanks to their very different personalities. This is a story about second chances, finding your true self, and making a difference. I highly recommend it for the whole family!
