Speedeebee! A Word Game from Blue Orange Games That Makes Learning Fun!

I love to play games with my kids that are so much fun, they don’t even know they’re learning something! Speedeebee! from Blue Orange Games is that kind of game. This fast-paced word game consists of a series of round cards and four special alphabet dice in a travel-friendly tin canister. On the cards are challenges, such as, “Name something associated with winter, starting with one of these letters (throw all 4 dice).” Or, “Find a word containing these 2 letters (throw the blue and purple dice).” The first player who comes up with a word that fits the category wins the card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins! Check out this video to see Speedeebee! in action:

My 9-year-old boys absolutely love to play Speedeebee! And we’ve found that you can come up with different ways to play. For instance, when we have three players, we’ll let two players answer the challenge, and then the third player acts as the “judge” to decide who came up with a better word.

With 50 cards, and 3 challenges per card, there are numerous combinations to make the game exciting all the time. We also make the rule that you can never use the same word twice, which encourages even more creativity! This is a terrific resource for vocabulary building, better spelling, and quick thinking for classrooms, homeschooling, and family fun! It’s not surprising that Speedeebee! has won numerous awards, including a Teachers’ Choice Award. I hope you’ll pick up a Speedeebee! game from Blue Orange Games!
