We Love Our Warm and Well-Made Sleeping Bag from TETON Sports! (GIVEAWAY)

Last Thanksgiving, when we traveled to my parents’ house for a holiday visit, I realized that our twin boys had outgrown their Jurassic Park and Goosebumps sleeping bags (which they had inherited from their older brothers) when they both pronounced that the bags were for “babies”! It was time, I knew, to upgrade to “real” sleeping bags for our family. The boys have also started going on camping trips with their scout troop, so we needed bags that could withstand rougher and cooler conditions than having a sleepover at Grandma’s or a friend’s house. Our whole family was extremely impressed with the Fahrenheit XXL 0°F Sleeping Bag! It arrived in a very compact compression sack with drawstring closure, as shown below:

When I saw how big the sleeping bag was after taking it out of the bag, my first thought was that I’d never get it back into the bag, but I was wrong! Rolling it tightly, it easily slipped back into the bag the very first time I tried it. Notice how there are straps across the top so that the sleeping bag stays inside and doesn’t fall out if it’s tipped upside down.

And we absolutely love the bag. As my boys said, “It’s so warm!” It will easily keep us warm at temperatures down to zero degrees Fahrenheit! And the flannel interior was so soft that the boys loved snuggling into it.

But the boys weren’t the only ones who love this bag! At 90 inches long and 39 inches wide, this bag easily accommodates the average adult with room to spare. And if you want more room, you can zip on an identical sleeping bag for tons of sleeping room. The double layer construction insures that the bag is warm and cozy, and will last a long time. And the half-circle “hood” at the top of the bag means that your pillow and your head aren’t lying on the ground. This is a very well-made sleeping bag and perfect for camping trips!
