Wordless Wednesday: Tropical Storm Isaac in South Florida (LINKY)

Tropical Storm Isaac sideswiped south Florida over the past few days, dumping up to 14 inches of rain in some areas. We were very fortunate at our house to experience no more than the slight effects you see below. Our boys’ school was closed Monday and Tuesday due to flooding. Other areas of south Florida weren’t so lucky and are still under water.

A Banana Tree Toppled Over
Many Palm Fronds Fell Down
A Patio Chair and Drain Pipe Blew into the Yard
But Kids Loved Jumping in the Puddles After the Storm!

If you’re participating in Wordless Wednesday, feel free to leave your blog name and URL in the linky below.

  1. I would welcome some rain in the desert that I live in right now. We haven't had much rain since last year.
