Attending events like these gives us the opportunity to take plenty of pictures so that we can cherish special memories for a lifetime. Check out some of the awesome sights and fun events I’ve captured with my camera here in South Florida:
At a Park
My Front Yard
Farther north, of course, you don’t want to miss Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center!
Sight of the Day Photo Contest for your chance to win the Ultimate Sightseeing Dream Vacation! The prizes are amazing and include a 10-day National Geographic Galapagos Island Excursion, a trip for four to Hawaii with accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, a $1,500 American Express® gift card, and weekly prizes of Shutterfly gift totes! Just upload a photo with a brief description of it, and you just may win!
Family Eye Promise. For each new promise submitted this year, Transitions will donate a new book to mobile literacy initiative Bess the Book Bus to help children nationwide become lifelong readers and reinforce the connection between healthy vision and the ability to read and learn.
And if you’re going to be in the Miami area this weekend, they’re hoping you’ll join them, along with Sears Optical, at the Great Taste of the Grove Food and Wine Festival that I mentioned above. They will be offering free vision screenings and the Ultimate Sightseeing Experience!
Unfortunately, our family won’t be able to make it there, but that’s only because we have some wonderful photo-taking opportunities already scheduled for this weekend! One of my twins has already had an eye exam, so we know that his good vision will help him see all of the wonderful sights and scenes here in sunny South Florida. I hope you’ll join Transitions lenses in making the Family Eye Promise and entering the Sight of the Day Photo Contest. And be sure to make some plans for creating some wonderful memories together with your family this summer.
