My children received an amazing book called Learning in Action: Dinosaurs!
About the book: Prehistoric beasts come roaring to life in Learning in Action: Dinosaurs. Before kids even crack the cover, the adrenaline-pumping action begins with a touch of a button as a ferocious embossed T. Rex awakens with a mighty roar and fierce, red glowing eyes. As they journey inside the book, kids will encounter a 3-D pop-up of a baby Eoraptor hatching from its egg and hear its cries, as well as come face-to-face with a deadly Allosaurus! This fantastic book is bursting with cool illustrations, dynamic pop-ups, sound effects, lift-the-flap excitement, and plenty of facts about dinosaurs. My boys love this book and have asked to look at it over and over again. It’s so interactive that they don’t even realize that they’re learning. It’s fun!
Another incredible book my children received from Silver Dolphin Books is called BUGS: The Ultimate Guide to the World of Bugs.
About the book: Discover everything you need to know about insects, arachnids and other bugs with this remarkable title. It includes a fully illustrated book that explores butterflies and moths, flies and beetles, and social insects such as ants and bees, as well as spiders and worms. Seven tabbed dividers provide easy navigation between sections and the detailed text is written and checked by experts. There are two large color posters, one detailing extreme bugs -- many shown at actual size -- and another providing a colorful spotter’s guide for bugs in your local park or garden. The easy-to-assemble tarantula model allows you to be creative by building your own bug. This book is amazing, and my boys can’t stop looking at it. The other night we were talking about spiders, and my kids pulled out this book to read more about them. Love it!
