I have a son in college and another one starting in August, so I’m well-acquainted with the high cost of tuition! In eleven years, I’ll be trying again to figure out how to afford college for twins. One thing I learned with my older boys, though, is that you can greatly offset the cost of a university education by applying for scholarships. Both my boys have been blessed with some scholarships to help with the cost of attending school. Scholarships are often available from charitable and community organizations, universities, government entities, and even corporations. In fact, I recently heard of a terrific opportunity for parents and future students to earn a $10,000 college scholarship!
Parent’s Choice Infant Formula Savings Sweepstakes is being held by Wal-Mart to celebrate the fact that their private brand formula has helped parents to provide their children with outstanding nutrition at affordable prices for the past thirteen years. Now, in partnership with PBM Products, LLC, a Perrigo Company, they are going to provide one lucky winner with a $10,000 college scholarship in the form of a College Savings 529 Plan!
The Parent’s Choice Infant Formula Sweepstakes was officially launched on June 15th, and will run through 11:59 p.m. on August 1, 2011. All you have to do is fill out a simple form.
