And when you head on over to IHOP for breakfast, you can now enjoy the return of their famous funnel cakes! Their fruit-topped funnel cakes join a delicious lineup of new Summertime Favorites, which are served a la carte or as part of a combination along with two eggs, golden hash browns and a choice of crisp bacon, savory pork sausage or hearty ham. Check them out!
• Fruit-Topped Funnel Cakes: Two warm, delicious funnel cakes with creamy whipped topping, powdered sugar and choice of fruit topping: cool strawberry, warm blueberry or cinnamon-apple.
• Strawberry Banana Waffle: Two waffle triangles topped with strawberries in glaze, sliced fresh banana and creamy whipped topping.
• Summer Berry Crepe: A delicate egg batter crepe with sweet cream cheese filling and crowned with a trio of berries, powdered sugar and creamy whipped topping.
• SIMPLE & FIT Strawberry Banana Waffle Combo: With only 380 calories, it features two waffle triangles topped with strawberries in glaze and sliced fresh banana served with scrambled egg substitute and two strips of turkey bacon.
You can also sneak a peek at IHOP’s new funnel cakes on this video. They look amazing! But they’re only available for a limited time, so I suggest you get over to IHOP before they’re gone!

Well it's funny you should ask...My mom died on Tuesday night, and the neighbors who live down the street and whom I have never met but have seen on occasion, stopped by this afternoon. They had seen the cop cars who came to deliver the news, and had asked my neighbors across the street what happened and they told them. Anyway, they said that they knew I was going through a rough time, and if there was anything that I needed to not hesitate to ask. I thought that was so nice of them, and it really made me feel better that there are still compassionate people out there.

The person who made the most positive impact on my life is my Nana. She showed me by example that love and family are the most important, meaningful things in life. She was the warmest, most loving person, and always made me feel loved, special, and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'll share a funny story about her that we always laughed about together afterward. Nana and I were big fans of the Austin Powers films (she was 93-years-old when she died, not long after the third movie came out, so you can see she always had a great sense of humor). One day we're watching the first movie (I was about 14 years old, and was heavily into acting at the time). She leans over and says to me, encouragingly, "See, Sarah, here's a homely man, but he didn't care, he kept auditioning, and he got a part!" She was trying to teach me an important lesson about going for what you want no matter what. I looked at her and said, "Nana, that's makeup and a wig. He doesn't look like that at all!" Well, did we share the biggest laugh! She thought it was so funny, her mistake. (She later saw Mike Myers on interviews and thought he was handsome.) And well, that's one of my favorite stories about my Nana. :)

Well, my ex and I have remained friends after a 5 year relationship, he had a 5 year old daughter who was 10 when we broke up and have remained in contact, she will be 16 this year! We didn't have a bad break up so being friends is great! I feel bad though because he was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and had many health problems, and is only 35. We eat at IHOP a lot I love their pancakes!
