I love going to the beach with my family, but I don’t love the mess afterward. My boys like to make sand castles and bury each other in the sand, so they always emerge coated in sand! Trying to brush it off with our hands never works very well because they’re all sweaty, so the sand just sticks to them. But I recently discovered a better way to “de-sand” my kids. It’s called Sand Gone, a dry body powder that’s applied with a powder puff.
Just smooth it over the sandy parts of your kids’ skin, and the sand slides off! It’s made with plant and vegetable starches, so it’s kid-friendly. And when I put it on my son’s skin, he said, “Mmmm, it smells good!” Here are before and after pictures of my son’s leg. In the first picture, his leg is covered in sand. In the second one, you can see how smooth it looks after using the Sand Gone. We did NOT wash it off with water and yet the sand is all gone, even though his leg was wet when the sand stuck to it.
Sand Gone is great! If you’ve got a sand box at home, it’s a must-have. Playing in the sand is always a lot of fun for kids. Now clean-up can be fun, too, with Sand Gone! Visit www.sandgone.com to order today.

I went to the web site and learned that this product not only removes the sand, but the salt. It also removes the sand from sand boxes. I hadn't thought of that.

This product sounds awesome! I learned that Sand Gone was a part of the event Surfer's For Autism in Stuart FL. Surfer's For Autism is a great South Florida based non-profit organization where volunteer surfers help teach young autistic children to surf.

ReplyDeleteI learned that the final ingredient is a hint of coconut fragrance to remind you of a tropical beach whether you are using Sand Gone after a day at the beach, playground, or sand box.
ReplyDeleteI learned that sand gone is a dry body powder that, when applied to sand covered skin, removes the sand and leaves the skin soft and smooth while feeling fresh and clean.
