Introducing Google’s +1 Button!

You may have noticed a new little button on the bottom of my posts. Now, in addition to the Twitter, Facebook and other “Share” buttons, you’ll see one that says +1. This makes it easy to recommend posts that you like right from the same page.

Here’s how it works: Let’s say I do a blog post about camping with your family, and you found it helpful and want to recommend it to other people. Just click on the +1 button at the bottom of the post. Now, when someone does a search on “camping” and my post appears in Google search results, they might see an annotation showing that you gave this post a +1 recommendation, which gives them added assurance that this post might be of value to them!
