Tower Prep: An Exciting New Action-Thriller from Cartoon Network!

Although I’m a big fan of cartoons, I love that Cartoon Network is branching out into other forms of entertainment. I’ve gotten hooked on their new live-action series, Unnatural History, and now they have a brand-new one-hour weekly action-thriller called Tower Prep!

Tower Prep tells the story of teenager, Ian Archer, who wakes up one morning to find himself at a mysterious academy for teens with special abilities. Nobody, including his three rude roommates, will tell him where he is or why, and he is cut off from the outside world with no means of escape. Fortunately, he finds three other students -- Suki, Gabe and CJ -- who are also determined to unravel the mysteries of Tower Prep, and they form a secret group. They decide to do their best to fit in while going behind the scenes to figure out what’s going on.

I watched the pilot episode of Tower Prep, and I was left with all kinds of questions! How did the kids get to this school? Are their parents aware of its mysteries? Who are the strange beings with glowing eyes in the forest? And why have these teens been chosen for this obviously out-of-the-ordinary school? There was obviously some sexual tension building between Ian and CJ, the only one in the group who has no memory of her life before the school. I can’t wait to watch the second episode to see if any of these questions are answered -- or what new ones arise.

Check out Cartoon Network’s Tower Prep web page for a video preview, more about the characters and the plot, and even a sweepstakes!

Tower Prep premieres on Cartoon Network this Tuesday, October 19, at 8 p.m. (ET, PT). I recommend that you watch or record it for later viewing because you won’t want to miss it!

DISCLOSURE: I received a screener for the pilot episode of Tower Prep. No compensation of any kind was provided.
