Super Summer Skincare Protection for Kids from Episencial (Giveaway)

It may be time to go back to school, but according to the calendar, it’s still summer time! So, when your little ones are going outside, don’t forget to apply the sunscreen. Episencial makes a terrific line of skincare products that are chemical-free and all-natural for children’s delicate skin.

I was recently sent an Episencial Fun Summer Skincare Value Kit, which consists of 1) sunny sunscreen (SPF 35); 2) protective face balm (SPF 6); and, 3) soothing cream, all in an adorable package illustrated by renowned children’s artist and author Eric Carle. I’ve been using the sunscreen almost every day on my twins because they were attending summer camp, where they got lots of time in the sun. They’ve also been taking swim lessons on Saturdays. I love that the sunny sunscreen is water-resistant, chemical-free, and blends in easily. And it smells good, too!

I also used the soothing cream on a little patch of dry skin that one of my boys had on his chin. It really soothed the irritated skin and made it less dry. The soothing cream can be used on eczema or itchy skin to restore lipids and enhance skin immunity. It also balances skin flora with probiotics. The other item in the kit -- protective face balm -- is great for heading into winter. As the winter winds begin to blow, the face balm provides relief for chapped skin and lips, and protects dry skin from the elements.

DEAL! And here’s some really great news: They’re having an end-of-summer special on the Episencial Fun Summer Skincare Value Kit at Diapers.com! Formerly $30, it now sells for only $14.99! Click here to take advantage of this fabulous deal.

I hope you’ll go to www.episencial.com and check out their other natural skincare products for your little ones, such as bubble bath, body butter, foaming wash, and nurturing balm! You can purchase their products right on their website, at other online retailers, or at a store near you. (See the store locator on their site.)

  2. I liked the Nurturing Balm. The Tea tree extract and 20% zinc helps prevent and treat mild to severe skin irritation or rash on any part of the body. Sounds great.

  71. 90% of mothers don’t think their children have dry skin, but in fact, recent skin maturation studies show that over 60% of children do have dry skin. The signs of dryness are not always evident to the naked eye, but because children’s skin is physiologically less developed than adult skin, it absorbs and loses moisture more easily than mature skin. Dryness leads to increased incidence of eczema, rash and cracking and can open the body up to increased infection and reduced immune efficiency.
