Back to School with Master Lock! (Giveaway)

I have a recurring nightmare where I’m back in high school, and I’ve totally forgotten the combination to my locker. I’m spinning the dial on the combination lock and trying to remember which direction I should be turning it or what numbers I am supposed to get to. While I struggle to open the lock, time is ticking and I’m going to be late for class or miss the departing bus!

But now that I know about Master Lock’s combination locks, I no longer have to fear them! For example, their Keyless Resettable Combination Lock (see image at left) allows you to set your very own combination using three numbers or letters! Personally, I think it would be a lot easier to remember my combination if it were a word rather than a series of numbers. It also comes with a “reset tool,” which makes it easy to reset your combination if anyone figures out that you used your name, Bob, as your password!

Another lock that would have helped me get to class on time is called the Master Lock Speed Dial Resettable Combination Lock (see image at right). The button slides up, down, left and right, and can be manipulated with one hand, which comes in handy when you have an armload of books! You’ve got to see this amazing lock in action. Check out this brief video on how it works:

Master Locks also come in a wide variety of cool colors, which makes it a lot easier to spot your locker in the sea of lockers down the hallway. (That’s another part of my recurring nightmare -- not being able to figure out which locker is mine!) If your tween or teen is going to be using a locker this year, I recommend that you pick up a Master Lock for him or her! And get a couple for your college student, too, so he can lock up his bike and keep his valuables safe.

Finally, tell your kids about the Master Lock Sweepstakes where teens can enter to win daily prizes, as well as a grand prize of an iPad with a paid two-year data plan! Go to www.masterlock.com/secretcombination to enter by August 29, 2010.

  43. I just got back from swimming at my local rec center. I didn't realize that I needed a lock for the locker where I put my clothes. I'm used to swimming at a place where I don't need the lock. This is just what I need. Thanks for the contest.
