Vacationing with the Kids Just Got Easier with the Marriott “Nickelodeon Your Stay” Program

When you’re vacationing with kids, it can be a struggle to keep them entertained. They can get tired and cranky if you’ve been on the road or wandering around a theme park all day, and sometimes the best thing to do is just to go back to the hotel and enjoy the pool. But not all hotels are family-friendly. To kids, they can be downright boring! With this in mind, Marriott recently teamed up with Nickelodeon to create the “Nickelodeon Your Stay” program!

At nearly 2,000 Marriott hotels across the United States, kids now have access to free Nickelodeon-themed activities. Each child receives a Nickelodeon bracelet with a code to access free online games at Nick.com, as well as an activity book with puzzles and mazes. In hotel restaurants, kids get a free placemat featuring their favorite Nickelodeon characters, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants.

At many hotels with the Marriott brand, including Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, and TownePlace Suites, you can opt for a special upgrade package for only $10. This gets you all the free items mentioned above, plus a SpongeBob SquarePants activity bag and splash ball (perfect for the hotel pool), Nickelodeon sunglasses, and a 3-D build-your-own SpongeBob craft. For an extra $20 at Marriott and JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, kids get all of the items mentioned above, plus a special SpongeBob or Dora pillowcase and storybook!

If you’re planning a trip this summer that includes a hotel stay, I suggest you visit www.nickelodeonyourstay.com for more information about this terrific kid-friendly promotion. You can also find free, downloadable Nickelodeon-themed travel games on the site, as well as a travel journal, travel bingo and coloring pages!
