New Episodes Airing This Week on DINOSAUR TRAIN!

If your kids are fans of Jim Henson’s DINOSAUR TRAIN series, they won’t want to miss the show this week because there are four new episodes! Buddy and the Pteranodon family will be journeying to Asia, Europe and Africa for World Tour Week. Kids will also meet a new character, Gilbert, who’s the conductor’s nephew. As always, these new episodes of DINOSAUR TRAIN will air on PBS KIDS, so check your local listings. The first show will air on Monday, May 24.

And if your kids play educational computer games, there are two new DINOSAUR TRAIN games at PBSKIDS.org/dinosaurtrain. The All Aboard game gives kids control of the Dinosaur Train as a junior conductor, helping to seat different types of dinosaurs as the train moves from station to station. In Dinosaur Tracks, Buddy and his friends are making tracks in the mud, and kids can help them figure out which footprint comes next.

Just in case you’re not familiar with the highly popular DINOSAUR TRAIN program, each 30-minute episode includes two 11-minute animated segments, along with live-action sequences featuring paleontologist, Scott Sampson, Ph.D. Dr. Scott shares fascinating facts about dinosaurs and compares their features to animals of today. My kids really enjoy this show, and they’re learning a lot about dinosaurs! I hope you and your children will tune in to the new shows this week.
