This Friday, Enjoy Family Movie Night on NBC with “Secrets of the Mountain”!

I must admit that I’m kind of a homebody. I’d much rather spend my Friday nights at home with my family than at a crowded public place. We can snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie together! So, I’m really excited to hear that Family Movie Night on NBC is back! And it kicks off with a brand-new family movie called Secrets of the Mountain, this Friday (4/16) at 8:00 (7:00 central). Sponsored by Wal-Mart, this movie looks like the perfect fit for our family night! Here’s a description of the movie:

Somewhere between the demands of her career, her ex’s wedding and her kids’ busy schedules, Dana James (Paige Turco from The Agency) is noticing her tight-knit family starting to unravel. An unexpected offer to purchase her family’s mountain property sets up a weekend road trip, which she hopes will bring her family back together. But when they arrive, they quickly learn that the mountain is much more than it seems. An ancient secret and a treacherous quest will test the family like never before. It’s an edge-of-the seat thriller that reminds us that when times are tough, families don’t run away from problems -- they run back to each other.
