Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Women (Giveaway)

To celebrate the publication of my new book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Women, I am giving a copy of the book to three winners!

Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Women contains 101 daily Christian devotions to comfort, encourage, and inspire you through the ups and downs of life. It also includes two bonus devotions and an inspirational foreword from Jennifer Sands, a 9/11 widow, and Christian author and speaker. Each devotion has a beautiful story that illustrates an inspirational Bible passage, followed by an original, personal prayer.

In the Chicken Soup for the Soul tradition, women from all walks of life and all ages share their personal experiences in this book. You’ll find stories of friendship, faith, and comfort that affirm God’s unconditional love and His wisdom. And you’ll find encouragement, solace, and strength in these real stories from real women.

My co-author, Karen Talcott, and I have been so touched by the notes we’ve already received from women who have been deeply moved by the true stories in this book. Linda Fuller, co-founder of Habitat for Humanity International and The Fuller Center for Housing, writes, “It’s so easy to get wrapped up in our own little ‘worlds’ that we need wisdom and encouragement from others who share common joys and struggles. I find these short personal stories and prayers, like chicken soup, nourishing and restorative.”

This book makes a wonderful holiday gift for all the women in your life! You can order Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Women from Amazon at a reduced price by clicking on the link below:

    My favorite verse is well-known-

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
    Psalm 23
