  4. I think that you can communicate with a baby before their birth. When I was pregnant with my first son he would always be more active when I rubbed my belly, or when we talked to him. He really seemed to understand I was talking/communicating with him.

  5. I talked to my son before he was born. That was one of the reasons I found out the gender so I could know who I was talking to! :0) Thanks for the chance, justicecw@hotmail.com

  9. Yes, it is possible to communicate with your baby before birth. Communication with the developing baby begins at conception as the baby is apart of the mother and father. The baby learns emotions through the taste of the amniotic fluid and is effected physically and emotional via the emotions of the mother. Nurturing the mother while she is pregnant is a viable form of communication for the baby. Talking, reading, playing music, and meditating with one's baby can begin the process of bonding, all forms of communication. It is my belief that what takes place in the womb affects the developing person for the rest of their lives, communication included as everything communicates something.

  11. Sure - they learn your voice and will turn towards it. I think they learn all about the people who will be raising them while inside. Music and reading are important too!

I do think you can bond with your baby before birth. I think you get feelings about the baby, through his movements within you. I think inside your womb, your baby feels your moods and aspects of your personality. I do think bonding begins in the womb, and it would be interesting to learn how to make that bonding a more positive beginning bonding experience.
